Delegates attending the Annual Meeting of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance will be guaranteed a memorable event in Montreal in 2024. The North American Chapter of ISoP, believes that Montreal’s rich history of academic excellence, research centers and experts, regulatory environment, and cultural diversity make it the ideal host city for the 2024 ISoP Annual Meeting.

The Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), just 25 minutes from downtown Montréal, handles all regular flights. In 2019, the Montréal-Trudeau Airport welcomed more than 20 million passengers, for a record year. With a total of daily 154 direct destinations, there were 36 domestic destinations, 30 U.S. destinations and 88 international destinations.
Business meetings and Conventions
- In 2021, the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA)’s Country and City rankings listed Montréal as the top city in the Americas for hosting international association events.
- In 2021, Montréal ranked first in the Americas for hosting international conferences, with 65 international events, according to the 63rd edition of the Union of International Association’s (UIA) International Meeting Statistics Report.
- More than 16,000 hotel rooms are located within the downtown most known venues, including approximately 4,000 rooms that are directly accessible by RESO, Montréal’s underground pedestrian network.
- Montréal hosted 445 events in 2019 and 208 events in 2022.
